Bonhomme de Neige

Il a tellement neigé ce week end, nous n'avons pas pu résister à faire un bonhomme de neige devant notre immeuble. Pas évident de tasser cette neige fraiche !

Crème Glacée

J'aime bien les coupes de crème glacée, je suis donc un peu en manque ici. Ca n'existe pas trop, les poires belle-hélène, les café/chocolats liégeois et autres pêches melbas. Lors d'une petite ballade cet après midi, nous avons découvert que l'excellent "Sophie's Cosmic Café" sert des sundaes et banana splits.... Hmmmm

Le Mystère de la Chambre Jaune

Pour ceux qui ne savent pas, nous avons été cambriolés Samedi dernier dans la soirée. Mon ordinateur portable, la nintendo DS Lite et des jeux, et 50 euros ont disparu.

Le mystère est le suivant. Les voleurs sont entrés par la porte fenetre coulissante donnant sur le balcon. La porte a deux loquets, un en bas et un en haut. Les loquets peuvent etre fermés à clef, mais nous ne fermions en général que celui du bas, et laissions la clef dessus. Les voleurs ont fait un trou dans la partie basse de la vitre, ce qui leur a permis d'accéder au loquet du bas et de l'ouvrir avec la clef. Mais le mystère est que le second loquet, hors d'atteinte de quelqu'un à l'exterieur qui passerait sa main par le trou, a été proprement dévissé...

Ils sont probablement partis par la porte d'entrée, que l'on a retrouvée entrouverte.

Celebration of Light

As every year, we had the chance to see in vancouver a fireworks competition taking place in English Bay. This last wednesday , it was the Chinese fireworks, very beautiful. We were staying in probably my favourite spot for this event, between the waterfront and the maritime Museum, sitting on the rocks, very close to the water to see the boats shadows and the reflections of light.
